KISS…S

Most of you know the first old version of KISS – Keep It Simple, Stupid !
This was not very polite but was a popular saying for one great statement of Sain’t Exupery: a design is complete only when you don’t have nothing more to take away !
Genius made simple great things:books, musics, … systems.
Then we learned that short would be a good substitute for stupid … With a short step relative to a bigger initiative we have feedback sooner, and as we have learned from the Fibonacci Series: bigger is not just bigger, it is much more dangerously bigger ! Because it has a lot of issues hidden inside !
Well, so we are agile dividing initiatives in simpler and shorter ones (releases, sprints).
But software is made by people, and people has to communicate with each other, has to collaborate with each other … And the products they made should be integrated … So we must synchronize people, their tasks, their work products …
That is why I believe in KI…S…S…S for keep it simple, short and synchronized.
